Changing Cinema

Changing Cinema was a project aimed at showcasing cinematography in films and highlighting minority filmmakers in a unique and visually compelling way. Drawing inspiration from graphic designer David Carson, I created collage-style spreads using movie stills and textured elements to craft a dynamic visual narrative. This project allowed me to refine my editorial layout skills while leveraging my research abilities. Designed with home decor in mind, the book features a monochromatic color palette, creating a cohesive and stylish presentation. Additionally, I practiced working within a grid system and curating images, which presented challenges but provided invaluable experience in design and composition.
