Landmark Conference Intern (Live Work)

As a Landmark Conference Intern, I manage the conference website, developing press releases for 23 Division III sports and ensuring timely, relevant updates. I create and oversee social media content, designing engaging graphics to boost online presence and interaction. Additionally, I assist the Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner in coordinating event operations, including conference championships and previews, ensuring smooth and professional execution that aligns with the conference’s goals and enhances its visibility.

Social Media Graphics (Templates)

Below is a compilation of social media posts created using BoxOut for the conference's social media accounts. These works include Standings, Gameday, Award, Season Preview, etc. However, the copywriting on the posts and articles is my own. During this internship, I had to work with all of the Sports Information Directors and sports communication staff from all 10 of our institutions to create these graphics. I have learned the importance of working well with others and having great communication skills.

Social Media Graphics (My Designs)

Below is a collection of social media posts I designed for the conference’s accounts, including Standings, Gameday, Awards, Season Previews, and more. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create these graphics. During this internship, I collaborated with Sports Information Directors and communication staff from all 10 member institutions, honing my teamwork and communication skills. I also had the opportunity to exercise creative freedom in developing original designs for select projects.

Season/Championship Previews

Here are examples of season and championship previews I developed for various conference sports, designed to deliver concise, engaging insights into each team and provide viewers with a quick, appealing overview. I refined my research, writing, and time management skills through these projects, ensuring high-quality content within tight deadlines. These were designed using Adobe Express with pictures from each of the 10 institutions within the Landmark Conference. Click the pictures below to be taken to each preview.

Website Releases

During my internship with the Landmark Conference, I had the opportunity to enhance my sports journalism and copywriting skills by creating compelling content for various scenarios. From crafting engaging previews and recaps for season openers and game days to highlighting standout performances through Athlete of the Week features and award articles, I focused on delivering impactful narratives tailored to a sports-focused audience. This experience sharpened my storytelling and attention to detail and reinforced my ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
