Wilkes University’s Marketing and Communications Department Internship and Graduate Assistantship (Live Work)
During my time with Wilkes University’s Marketing and Communications Department, I gained valuable insights into research and trend analysis, allowing me to create designs that resonate with consumer interests. I had the opportunity to collaborate across various departmental sections, including web services and the design team, with a particular focus on social media design. My responsibilities included conducting keyword research, performing data analysis, refining my design skills, and managing ad campaigns on platforms such as Google, Facebook, Spotify, Hulu, and Snapchat. This experience deepened my understanding of the research-driven approach to design and marketing, enhancing my ability to optimize projects based on target market insights and objectives.
Snapchat Rebrand Ads
As part of the creative services team, I contributed to the development of Snapchat ads following the university’s 2022-2023 rebrand. This project enabled me to enhance my skills in Adobe After Effects and illustration. Using Procreate, I crafted custom graphics over images tailored to each major, then transferred these files to After Effects for animation, creating a cohesive, dynamic ad. The completed ads ran on Snapchat throughout the school year, supporting the university’s refreshed brand presence on digital platforms.
Wilkes Admissions Gear
In this project, I had the opportunity to design a logo for the Wilkes University Admissions Department, intended for use on shirts and sweatshirts worn by student ambassadors and staff. This design aimed to unify and represent the department’s brand identity across team apparel.

Using the pre-existing event logo, I incorporated it into a cookout-themed design, adding a picnic table-style border and creating custom illustrations to enhance the event's inviting, community-focused atmosphere.
