As the sole graphic designer on the Governor's digital team, I was tasked with covering major sports moments and wins across Pennsylvania — but doing it in a way that felt like sports-creative content rather than typical government social media. The challenge was balancing both ends of that: making graphics look like they came from a professional sports team's creative department, while staying polished and official enough to represent the Governor. I studied sports-design accounts and campaigns to build that visual fluency, applying it to moments like Pennsylvania's FIFA World Cup 2026 hosting run and a piece spotlighting USMNT players with PA roots. That USMNT graphic became the top performer of the series, pulling 8,301 likes and over 1,000 shares — proof the sports-creative direction was resonating well beyond the office's usual audience.
